www.rtspt.com/events/ncaa/d1westxc23/The entries are out, but not sure how helpful given that most of both squads are listed, including the previously thought to be ineligible transfers.

For the women’s squad this seems pretty straight forward. all of the transfers are ineligible. It appears Girard is in the same position. We haven’t seen Peters run in uniform yet. That leaves the usual suspects. Elmore, Thornton-Bott, Thompson, Klaudia, Clute, Nelson, Miller, McClain. If they can only run 7 I’m assuming they’ll sub McClain for Miller.
For the men I can report on the pictures we are seeing which indicates Cook, Norman, Burns, Balazs, Scasso, Noakes, and Edwards are all there. That’s 7 if they only allow 7 per team for this race.

Can I assume there will be no live streaming of these races? I have seen nothing about it.

They seem to project only 3 teams out of the west for the men. I had the west being a little stronger than that at the start of the year but I guess the numbers don’t lie (with the head-to-head scoring system they use).

I’m not seeing Nelson or Balazs yet in the pictures.

Checked NCAA.org championship manual and yes, 7 per team max. Since the men's race jumps to 10k, I would not be surprised if Aiden Smith is one of the final 7.

The women's team are in a good position to make an at large bid that is assuming that Washington and Stanford are again too much to handle. The men's team are in a bit of a pickle as CBU, Stanford, and Washington look to the be pre race 3 teams going for the top 2 auto qualifiers and first at large bid but then there is Gonzaga, Portland, and Cal Poly that could make things a bit of a challenge. The men definitely have to get 4th IMO to have a shot at getting an auto bid which they may or may not care about at this point. The strategy just could be get as many youngsters the experience of running a 10k race at regionals in preparation for the future years and if they make it they make if not track season awaits.

Wow... looks like the women got an auto-qualifier 2nd place! The top three, Maddy, Izzy, and Anika had great races!

For sure, they get an automatic. What happened to Kasimierska between the 1.5 and 2.5 mile marks? She dropped back 20 places during that part of the race.

Great race by the Women's team to Auto Qualify. Thompson and Clute ran well. Elmore and ITB has been consistent but interesting enough their 1-5 spread and even through 6 was better at Pac-12s. I think Washington didn't run as strong as they did two weeks ago but they had room to spare after winning conference and getting points over Stanford, Oregon Colorado, and some schools they beat at Nuttycomb who would push them in regardless.
