And another one....Shalane has been able to land Isabel Conde De Frankenburg who as stated before has PRs of: 800-2:05 and Mile-4:38. Her current recruiting class is starting to rival Jerry's on the men's side this past year.

Very excited about both our mens and womens recruiting classes - some excellent signings all around including some absolute barnstormers in the distances (Ince!!!). Looking forward to seeing these Ducks in 2025 and it feels like we could be building squads that are capable of competing for NCAA Championships as our 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 classes come of age. Are there HS track recruiting rankings, to provide some context to how good/impactful the commits are expected to be? Thanks. Dyestat and Milesplit are the two best ones I know of, but both are behind paywalls.

New prep commitment from Amirah Shaheed out of San Diego, CA. Personal bests of: 60m - 7.60 100m - 11.58 200m - 24.22
I would expect any number of transfers next year but we’ve got a solid base to build the 4x100m squad from in the upcoming years.

For a long time, all we heard about were distance recruits. It's great to finally see sprinters' names here. Curtis is a terrific coach, and I was getting worried that he'd not have anyone to develop.

Clayton’s mom is former 2000 Olympian from Great Britain, Samantha Davies. Her father is former MLB player Royce Clayton. She certainly has the right people in her corner to make her college choice.

The first-place (Clayton), third-place (Neal), and fifth-place (Shaheed) finishers of the 2023 CA State 100m Championship have committed to Oregon. The future looks bright.

The incoming recruits did pretty well overall with some form of PR for mostly all them that competed. Burlison set an indoor PR and was only two seconds off of his outdoor PR from the end of May last year which bodes well for him this early in his season. Sam Humphries took two seconds off her Outdoor PR from last June, and Ali Ince dropped 4 seconds on her Outdoor PR from the same race last June. If they can all stay healthy I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped 3-4 seconds off their times later on this Spring. Conde De Frankenberg possibly just wasn't feeling her best as the performances she had two weeks prior in NY indicates her fitness is much better than what showed.
