Quite a few ducks will be competing at the Oregon State High Performance meet which I believe is an all time record of five meets in one weekend for the squad. Entries are below. Should be a decent meet overall and a chance for some to show the coaches they could be candidates to make the conference meets or to get regional qualifiers. storage.googleapis.com/anet_user_files/meet/tf/529034/performance_list_4-22_1714.pdf

Great to see some rehabbing athletes make an appearance here, especially Shaniya Hall and Aiden Smith, who had a very good debut indoor season.
One question: if Palfrey is competing at OSU, who is the #4 at the Penn Relays?

I would imagine both relays will have Harrison, Harding, Erickson, and Cook with the DMR having either Erickson or Harding doing the 400/800 legs.

I realize this may sound like a broken record, but for those who in the past expressed concern that they never get to see Oregon's "developmental athletes" in action, the OSU High Performance meet offers that opportunity. So what say you take that short 45 minute drive up the road and support the many young Ducks who will be competing in the track and on the field.

Kobe Lawrence is entered in the shot put. Kobe would be ranked 2nd in the conference in the shot put by the way. He’s also a 20 year old freshman so I’m not sure why we are redshirting him. My only thought is he’s not working much on the discus and they want him to contribute in both events for 4 years.

Victoria Patterson and Harper McClain are now entered unattached in the 5k. Not sure if they are pacing or running the full race but will be good to see them out there nonetheless if in fact they do run.

Last night's 3000m steeplechase and 5,000m races were fun to watch. None of the Washington State Cougars performed well which leads one to believe that they are in a heavy training cycle, but it was still exciting to see both Martin and Clute run down runners with much better PRs. Martin's grin approaching the finish line was priceless.
I was looking forward to seeing Aiden Smith's fitness last night, so obviously disappointed that he and all the other men's distance runners were pulled from both OSU and Stanford. Hopefully it is to save them for the Twilight meet.

Kobe Lawrence throws 63' 5.5", a huge PR over his previous PR from the OSU PNW Invite. Would be #14 in the NCAA. Will he stay a redshirt? My guess is 'yes'.
