The accepted entries for the BC Eagle Invite are out. All the usual suspects for the distance crew. Fortunately, Elliott Cook is listed. Since he is only entered into the 800m, I would guess he will be anchoring the DMR. lancertiming.com/index.htmEdit: I missed him the first time: Cook is in the mile as well.

Seeing a few athletes for the first time this season: Cheyla Scott, Arthur Katahtin, and Travion Phillips, as well as Annika Williams and Rafael Raap in more events. Given that there are no more multi-events on the Ducks schedule, they appear to be focused on Outdoors.
I guess we won't see Alysah Hickey or Micah Williams indoors this year.

Looks like the focus this weekend for Barnett will be to get a fast 800 and maybe a leg on the DMR. She ran pretty well in the 800 at Arkansas considering she was doubling back from the mile. Wouldn't be surprised if she and Nelson run faster than 2:04. The Oregon Women's Mile Schools record of 4:31.03 held by Jess Hull is on high alert. Would be great if Klaudia K. is able to share the accolades of a school record this year with Elmore. I believe we could possibly see several Oregon women go under Jess' School record. I will post a Women's DMR race preview in dedicated thread after Friday's results.
Cook is now only entered in the 800 and as stated is probably on target to run the DMR. I would imagine the men's order to be Palfrey, Erickson, Harding, Cook. Excited to see if they can run some great 800s that may put them in National's contention. Not sure how sharp Cook is going to be but it will be good to see him contending. Sure hope that Josh Schumacher runs this weekend. He has had a challenging collegiate career at best. Could this be the weekend finally that another Oregon man breaks 4:00 in the mile. Palfrey should be the one but would be nice to see if the youngsters break into it as well. The same for the 3k should be the weekend where a new Oregon man breaks 8:00 (hopefully several)!!!

the Don Kirby is being streamed by Flotrack but apparently the Boston meet will not be available anywhere. Please let me know if I'm wrong.

Last evening we learned that unfortunately a decision has been made that Cook will not be running again until Outdoor Season. This came directly from Coach Schumacher.

I searched for the Boston meet streaming and found this: www.watchathletics.com/schedule/watchlive/8200I know nothing about it, but they advertise free trial membership.

That's an interesting and fairly comprehensive site for finding live streams for world wide events and only confirms that the Boston Elite event is not being streamed. Too bad. Again, let me know if I'm missing something.

Wow huge performance by Annika Thompson for a huge over 50 second PR in the 5k. She seems to be a persistent hard worker whose work is starting to pay off this year.

To me the website doesn’t look like it’s providing streaming. It looks like the “Start” your account trials are advertising for something else.
