In an article on the Stride Report about Silan Ayyildiz being listed on Oregon's TFRRS Roster they suggest that ITB doesn't have eligibility left. Here is a screenshot of their article (subscription required)  |

She was listed as a Junior last year in both track seasons last year but there seems to be a change in how NCAA is handling eligibility which makes sense with so many collegians competing now well into their 20s. I don't know what the case is for ITB but she isn't listed on the TFRSS roster so don't know if she ran out of eligibility or just was ready to move on from collegiate running. Of course it would be great to have her still on the team but a least there are enough scoring options remaining to keep the Women's team in contingent nationally indoors.

Thanks NateB. I thought someone would have a take. I mainly wanted to raise the issues in the context of the Stride Report article and also to show the results of that reader poll.  |
