Good news. I've seen her around, but never understood her role. Her specialty in Biomechanics in sprint and jumps will be valuable. Of special interest to me is the new creative director: "The track and field staff has also added Anderson Bobo as the team's new creative director." Hopefully we will now get the missing information about the athletes themselves, which has been maddingly missing from a team renowned as Tracktown.

Definitely thought we were full on coaches so this is good news. I’m hoping this frees up Seth to focus on vertical jumps while Ola can focus on horizontal jumps.

I don’t expect to get more information from the creative director. I just read a good article about how SID’s are being spread too thin and asked to do too much in college sports. The SID is the one responsible for the information side while the creative director is part of the hype team. Aka they will create short videos and promotional content for social media.

I missed something. What coach left to make room for her?

The Division 1 Council made some changes effective the start of the 2023-2024 year. This seems to be explanation for Adeniji's new title: "The Council voted to eliminate the voluntary coach designation across Division I, instead including those coaches within a new limit for countable coaches in each of the applicable sports". So what is the status of Mark Vanderville?

Yes, this is a good explanation of Adeniji's new title. But it is hard to find out what, if any changes have been made to the coach limits for T&F or XC, and one would certainly hope that there is a place for a pole vault coach like Vanderville.
At the same time, I was puzzled to notice that it seems that Oregon has added a new volunteer coach in the person of Jerry's daughter Makenna, who appears in a photo in an IG post from Flanagan about the new XC training. Makenna's IG profile says she is now a former UW alum and is now an oregontf assistant coach.
